Attention is the true currency of human systems. Its worth is found in minutiae. Its value in transitions. Persistently sought, dangerously coveted and relentlessly harvested, exactly so because it is not abundant but preciously finite.
Attention, whether willingly surrendered or given by unconscious consent,
is contested and claimed across a batterment of influence
— by systems competing for leverage within the human field.
It is not conspiracy.
It is function.
Divided attention produces a disrupted mind.
A disrupted mind produces a distorted society.
A distorted society produces a fragmented world.
For if the children are all insane,
then what else must one do if not move toward becoming a little more sane?
